Privacy
Short, because we collect very little. The detail on project material specifically is on the data and security page.
What we collect
- Your name, business email and firm, when you contact us
- Project material you choose to send us, for the purpose of producing your submission
- Correspondence between us
The deadline list, the guides and the glossary require no account and set no tracking on you.
What we do with it
We use it to answer you, to produce the work you have asked for and to invoice you. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing.
We also run client material internally against the engine to check that the engine is working correctly: that every claim still traces to a source, that nothing has been invented and that a change to the system has not broken something. That testing never leaves our systems. It does not put your material into another organisation’s submission, it does not train an external AI model and it makes your project visible to nobody.
It is also how the figures on this site exist. Counts like 575 claims out of 575 carrying a citation come from running real material through and counting, rather than from an estimate. If you would rather your material was used only for your own submissions and not for internal testing, say so and it is excluded. It changes nothing about your work.
Who else sees it
Project material is processed through commercial AI provider APIs, under terms where data sent through the API is not used to train their models. Beyond that, no third party sees your material. No other client sees it.
How long we keep it
Project material is deleted within thirty days of you asking, at any time and without explanation. Correspondence and invoicing records are kept as long as Australian tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected and ask for it to be deleted. Email and it will be done.
Australian Privacy Principles
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. If you believe we have got something wrong, tell us first and we will fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
